An interesting side-note to the tallies, the first game between Michigan and Northern Michigan ended in a tie in overtime. Then a shootout followed which resulted in Northern Michigan winning the shootout. However, since the final score of the game even after the designated overtime period was still tied, I am counting the game as a tie and I am not including the results of the shootout in the official tally. The rule will be that shootouts don't count.
